Webshop terms of trade and delivery
The following conditions apply to online purchases via the website www.solus.dk
The website is owned by WIMA/SOLUS ApS, CVR no. 42417920, Lisenborgvej 6, DK-6900 Skjern.
Ordering goods
To place an order via www.solus.dk, you must be at least 16 years old and have a valid payment card (Mastercard, VISA, VISADankort) or MobilePay.
Once you have placed an order on the website, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail, which means that a final and binding agreement has been made between you and SOLUS.
However, SOLUS reserves the right to correct obvious printing errors, technical problems, delivery delays, etc.
When your order is ready for shipment, you will receive your invoice by e-mail.
Payment will only be deducted when the item is shipped from our warehouse.
Payment for goods
Payment can be made by credit card (Mastercard, VISA or VISADankort) and MobilePay.
There are no fees for payment by credit card. The amount will be deducted from your account when the goods are shipped from our warehouse.
When you place your order, the amount will automatically be reserved in your account and the reservation will be removed when the payment is completed.
If you cancel your order, the reservation will be deleted within 5 working days. If the reservation is not deleted, please contact our customer service at bogholderi@solus.dk.
We also recommend contacting your credit card provider.
Please note that gift cards cannot be used as payment in our webshop.
Delivery of goods
Delivery of goods in Denmark.
All orders are shipped via Danske Fragtmænd to the address provided at order creation and will be delivered within 1-7 working days.
Delivery of goods outside Denmark (Norway and EU).
All orders are shipped via Blue Water Shipping to the address provided at order creation and will be delivered within 3-15 working days.
The shipping price will be stated during your order.
If we cannot deliver within the agreed time frame, we will inform you as soon as possible of the reason for the delay and give you a new delivery time. If it is important for you to receive the goods within a certain time, please contact us immediately at bogholderi@solus.dk in case of delay.
You can always cancel your purchase until the shipment occurs.
Right of withdrawal
You can cancel your purchase right up until the time of shipment. To cancel your purchase, send an email to bogholderi@solus.dk and remember to include your order number.
In addition, you have a right of withdrawal that is valid for 14 days from receipt of the goods. If you wish to cancel your purchase, you must inform us clearly by e-mail to bogholderi@solus.dk no later than 14 days after you have received the goods. Then await instructions from SOLUS.
Remember to state the reason for the return/cancellation and your order number in your request.
If you choose this option, we will immediately confirm that we have received your decision to exercise your right of withdrawal.
You cannot cancel your purchase simply by refusing to receive the goods. If we receive your goods back due to non-collection, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your amount.
If you have purchased sealed goods that are sensitive to dirt and moisture when the seal is broken (e.g. oil, bearings and open electrical components), you lose the right of withdrawal if you open the seal.
You can of course cancel your purchase even if you have examined the goods.
However, we ask that you handle them with care and only to the extent necessary to preserve the character, properties and function of the goods.
The goods must be returned in complete condition, which means that all parts, accessories, instructions for use etc. must be returned to us. We recommend that you return the goods in the original packaging.
If you have handled the goods inappropriately or if parts are missing or damaged, you will be responsible for the reduced value and we reserve the right to deduct this reduction in value from your refund.
Complaints
According to the Danish Consumer Contracts Act, SOLUS offers a 24-month warranty on all purchases made via www.solus.dk.
This right of complaint means that you can complain about defects in the product that occur within 24 months of purchase. It is important that you complain within a reasonable time after you have discovered a fault or defect.
We recommend that you complain as soon as possible after discovering the defect.
You can complain by sending an email to bogholderi@solus.dk with the following information:
- A brief description of how the damage or defect occurred.
- Image documentation and a short description of the defect, which must be clearly visible in at least one of the images. Also make sure that the images show the entire product.
- A copy of your order confirmation.
We will process your complaint as soon as possible after we have received your inquiry.
Returns and refunds
When you need to return an item, either because you have regretted your purchase or because you have complained about it, you must send the package back to our warehouse yourself according to instructions from SOLUS.
If you return an item that you have regretted, you will have to cover the cost of return shipping yourself.
If you return an item you have complained about, SOLUS will cover the cost of return shipping.
The product must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have sent us the notice of withdrawal or complaint.
The address is WIMA/SOLUS ApS, Kærsangervej 16, 8870 Langå. Remember to mark the package with "Return".
When you cancel your purchase, we will refund all money for the products you have purchased, excluding shipping costs and with any reduction for depreciation through use or similar, as mentioned earlier.
The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we have been informed of your complaint or use of the right of withdrawal.
However, we reserve the right to withhold the amount until we have received the goods back from you or until you can document that you have returned them, whichever happens first.
We will use the same payment method for the refund as you used for the original transaction, unless you have agreed otherwise with us.
Personal data
When you shop in our webshop, we process the following personal data in order to handle your purchases and provide the best possible customer service:
General personal data, including information about purchased products, payment information, name, address, delivery address, and complaint and return cases.
The processing is done to fulfill our agreement with you and to ensure optimal service, cf. GDPR Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f).
If you have given consent to marketing, we also process:
General personal data, such as information about your purchases, in order to target relevant offers to you (profiling). The processing is based on our interest in ensuring that you receive the most relevant news and offers, cf. GDPR Art. 6(1)(f).
For fraud prevention and investigation purposes, we may process the following data:
General personal data, including information about your purchases in the webshop and data from our payment providers. The processing is done to protect against fraud, cf. GDPR Art. 6(1)(f).
Disclosure
In order to provide our service to you, we may disclose your information to relevant suppliers and partners, such as software providers, marketing agencies and other data processors.
In case of suspected fraud or illegal activities, we may disclose relevant information to the police in connection with a report or investigation. This disclosure is made to protect both our and society's interests in connection with crime prevention and prosecution, in accordance with applicable law.
Deletion policy
We store your personal data related to invoice and return receipt for five (5) years after the purchase or return to comply with the Accounting Act.
If we retain information in connection with fraud cases or other illegal matters, we store this information until it is handed over to the police.
Choice of law
All purchases of goods on www.solus.dk are subject to Danish law. Any disputes will be handled by the ordinary Danish courts.
